God, I offer myself to Thee to build with me and to do with me as Thou wilt. Relieve me of the bondage of self that I may better do Thy Will. Take away my difficulties that victory over them may bear witness to those I would help of Thy Power, Thy Love, and Thy Way of Life. May I do Thy Will always.

Oh, that You would bless me indeed and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would always be with me, and that You would keep me from evil.

Thank You for keeping me sober today. Amen.

Uggh. I just finished my banking this morning. The ice storm earlier this month really set me back since I wasn't able to bill as many hours that week. It seems that my landlord deposited my check post-dated for the 19th yesterday on the 17th. Now, I'm in overdraft. Fortunately, Mom and Dad are going to lend me $250 to cover it until this weekend and the bank has paid all the checks and charges. I also signed up for the overdraft protection. Hopefully, that will go through. I look forward to April when I am more flush with cash.

Yesterday was a pretty good day at work although I seem to be getting more and more tired staring at those tiny numbers. I think I may be close to identifying the problems in the 052300 intercompany clearing account. I may have found another million dollars. Hopefully, the theory Doug and I concluded will pan out. Today, we should hear from Sriram regarding the fixed asset subledger. I hope that all worked, too, and that they're able to deal with the special depreciation from 2001.

I went down to Lew Sterrett after work to take the AA meeting to the jail. There were a bunch of new faces this month. The topic was listening, and Nathan shared a bit of his story after we finished early. I have to say that I'm a bit envious of the progress he's made in such a short time, or at least a shorter time than me. I'll have to add him to my Eighth Step list I guess, and talk to Dan about it.

I went to the business meeting at Lamba afterwards, and even fewer people were there than usual. It really seems that our group is sick in some way. Half the trusted servants never show up for business meetings. We're running low on funds. The phone list is rarely available, and when it is, there are only half as many names as a year ago. We need help, but I'm not sure what needs to be done. We can't force people to come or to give money. We can only ask.

I went by Best Buy afterwards to exchange the DVD player Mom & Dad gave me for store credit. I hope to buy a new TV next month. We'll see if that will work out.

Bill S called just after I walked in the door. He asked for my help in planning Dan's farewell party on April 26th. We're going to have around 50 people, and he wants to find a gay bagpiper. I'm glad he initiated this because I really wanted to do something for Dan before he moves to DC.

Allen from Sunday night called. We had a nice chat, but I hope he doesn't begin calling every day. I don't have that much to talk about. Then I cooked some dinner and logged onto gay.com. James from Austin paged me in the POZ room, and we had a great chat. He's funny and has really nice legs. I think he's planning on calling tonight. We'll see.

I wish I would hear from Tucker in Amarillo. I hope I didn't scare him off. I think I'll give it until tomorrow and then call him if I still haven't heard from him. That's all for now.
