:: Friday, March 21, 2003 ::

God, I offer myself to Thee to build with me and to do with me as Thou wilt. Relieve me of the bondage of self that I may better do Thy Will. Take away my difficulties that victory over them may bear witness to those I would help of Thy Power, Thy Love, and Thy Way of Life. May I do Thy Will always.

Oh, that You would bless me indeed and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would always be with me, and that You would keep me from evil.

Thank You for keeping me sober today. Amen.

I woke up more refreshed this morning. What a glorious day! After talking to Tucker I looked up love poetry and then I returned the call of Allen from Sunday night. We talked a while about nothing in particular. I went to bed, read a little bit, and fell asleep. And today's Friday! Thank God. I've been so bored at work this week waiting on the guys from India to finish up.

I don't have much to say so I'm going to include a love poem here. I'm not sure that I'm in love nor am I sure of how one is sure when one is in love having never been in it myself. But here goes:

Let me not to the marriage of true minds
Admit impediments. Love is not love,
Which alters when it alteration finds,
Or bends with the remover to remove.
Oh, no! it is an ever-fixed mark
That looks on tempests.. and is never shaken.
It is the star to every wandering bark
Whose worth's unknown, although his height be taken.
Love is not Time's fool, though rosy lips and cheeks
Within his bending sickle's compass come.
Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks,
But bears it out.. even to the edge of doom.
If this be error and upon me proved,
I never writ, nor no man ever loved.
