God, I offer myself to Thee to build with me and to do with me as Thou wilt. Relieve me of the bondage of self that I may better do Thy Will. Take away my difficulties that victory over them may bear witness to those I would help of Thy Power, Thy Love, and Thy Way of Life. May I do Thy Will always.

Oh, that You would bless me indeed and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would always be with me, and that You would keep me from evil.

Thank You for keeping me sober today. Amen.

I stayed up later last evening and awoke earlier this morning than usual. I'm sure that I'll pay for it later today. I also awoke to not the most pleasant of dreams. I was thinking of Holly and how bitchy she seemed last night. I love her to death, but I would not like to work for her. Perhaps it's best that we only see each other every few months.

I can definitely see a difference between the friends from my past and the friends from my present. In my younger years, I spent so much time and energy trying to win the affection of men and women whose affection or approval was not easily given or gained. Most of the friends I have now are much more pleasant and enjoyable to be around. We all may be crazy, but at least we know we're crazy and are doing something about it. Thank You God for that.

I read Theo's blog last night. He cracks me up. He had corrected my daily errant prayer. Instead of praying "I offer myself to Thee...", I should be praying "I offer myself to Theo...." Inside joke.

Well, today consists of work, the 6 o'clock, and then I should continue to work on the baseboards and bathroom. I think my place should be in fairly decent shape by next week for the guys to come over. Theo was so funny yesterday. When he arrived at my place, he was looking in the windows and thinking, "I must not be at the right place because this doesn't look like a mess." I can't believe how far it's come in only a month. Thank You again God. OK, I'm off.
