Today was a good day. I slept very soundly through the rain last night and awoke early. I went by my doctor's office to have my TB skin test checked for Bryan's House. It was negative thankfully. I arrived at work and we discussed what needed to be done for our director's meeting with president of the company. I spent most of the morning helping Craig, and we went to lunch at Schlotzsky's. I spent most of the afternoon drafting some more procedures and left shortly after five o'clock.

I had hoped to take a nap but did not have time. I returned several calls from Joel at Preservation Dallas, my little brother Ross, Dan in DC, and Terry whom I was to meet later. I called StatScript to place a couple of prescription refills to pick up tomorrow and to the Centrum to bring my membership payments up to date. I did a little research on the French language cassettes I plan to buy and then showered and dressed for my date.

I just arrived back home from a most pleasant evening. Terry and I had coffee at Starbucks in the West Village and talked for four hours non-stop. He is very interesting and gave me several things to think about. He also is currently roommates and formerly the lover of one of my friends from high school. I needed to hear what he had to say tonight. He talked at length about his own experience and how he came to realize that we manifest what we expect and believe. I have found that profoundly true in my own life although I too often see that only in retrospect. I'm looking forward to knowing him better.
