insecurity

I left Essilor yesterday and was an emotional mess last night. I felt I had made such a big mistake in initiating the whole departure thing. I felt guilty for leaving those at Essilor with my uncompleted work, guilty for ending the assignment for Accountemps, and fearful that I would stay too long on the bench and become unemployed. I ate dinner, watched TV, read, and went to bed.
This morning I felt better but not much. Ross left for Europe yesterday so we weren't going to be meeting for breakfast today. I returned my friend Tom's call from last night, and we talked about emotional and financial insecurity. Lo and behold, that was exactly the topic of the men's AA meeting. I felt so much better after it. I must have faith that everything will work out and even if it doesn't, I will be capable of coping with it. I met a little bit with my sponsee Charlie and then went to pick up my prescriptions at StatScript. I called to cancel the Essentials Gold which I've been meaning to do for a while. It's amazing how all can seem brighter in just a couple of hours.
