I really enjoyed yesterday for some reason. The sun was shining most of the day, the Lambda business meeting was over, and I was engrossed in designing the Daily Sales Report database. Now, I wish I could stay longer at Essilor to see it through completion. Last night, I worked until seven o'clock designing a way to most accurately estimate discounts, rebates, and freight income at a lab level. I know that probably sounds boring or insignificant to anyone reading this, but I created some new ways of using Access and using what I'm learning in statistics to do so. Thanks Blaise. It was your blog on your friend interviewing his idol that prompted me to apply to school and move in this direction.

I think I'll talk to Jeremy when he returns from San Diego to see if it's possible to stay a couple more weeks. That way I could oversee Rina through some of the transition of close activities as well. If not, I may see if I can take a couple fo weeks unpaid time and work on setting Todd's friend Rick up on Quickbooks.

However, I'm finding it difficult to fall asleep at night with all this database programming and statistics homework. I spent a lot of money unnecessarily last night chatting with this beautiful man in Spain on ifriends.com. Uggh. I enjoyed it but don't want to see the bill when it hits my account. It's money that would be much better spent on new tires or something useful. Oh well. Live and learn.
