restraint
God, I offer myself to Thee to build with me and to do with me as Thou wilt. Relieve me of the bondage of self that I may better do Thy Will. The best way to teach a child restraint and generosity is to be a model of those qualities yourself. Well, yesterday went pretty well at Miller. I finished the budgets for four of the market areas and apologized to Jason for snapping at him yesterday. I am definitely going to have to practice restraint of pen and tongue with him since he is determined to do things his own way.
I worked a little late last night and then went by Lambda to empty the safe and collect the deposits. I emptied all the envelopes, cooked a pizza, watched The West Wing, and waited for Ross to come by and pick up the boxes I saved. We had a cigarette and visited and hugged before he left. Neither of us cried. I think he's trying to maintain his composure until he leaves for New York so that he can get done all that he needs to get done. I will miss him.
Now, on to another exciting day of budgeting. Leslie from Accountemps is coming by to take us to lunch. Hopefully, she'll have a new project for me.
