family
God, I offer myself to Thee to build with me and to do with me as Thou wilt. Relieve me of the bondage of self that I may better do Thy Will. A good, relaxing weekend. Exactly what I needed. I finished up things at Miller Brewing Company on Friday and had an interview at Centex Home Equity later in the day. I finally began feeling a bit better on Saturday morning. I went to the Men's AA meeting which Jim led on the Sixth and Seventh Steps. I talked to Phillip and Bradley for a while afterwards. The rest of the day, I didn't do a whole lot besides make a Quiche Lorraine, read, and sleep.
Yesterday, I met my parents, my grandmother, and my aunt and uncle for Mothers' Day at Steak & Ale in Arlington. Bryan and Cindy had driven up from Austin for the day, and it was great to see them again. Mom did pretty well not crying with Ross being in New York and all. We saw my old Sunday School teacher Mrs. Matthews at the next table.
I came home afterwards to take a nap and began putting away some books and things. I called my sponsor and talked to my friend Tom for a while.
All in all, a pretty good weekend.
